{"id":710038,"date":"2019-09-25T11:48:53","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T11:48:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2019\/09\/25\/fidelity-bank-appoints-two-deputy-mds\/"},"modified":"2019-09-25T11:48:53","modified_gmt":"2019-09-25T11:48:53","slug":"fidelity-bank-appoints-two-deputy-mds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/09\/25\/fidelity-bank-appoints-two-deputy-mds\/","title":{"rendered":"Fidelity Bank Appoints Two Deputy MDs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Edward Opare-Donkor and Samuel Aidoo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FIDELITY BANK has appointed Edward Opare-Donkor and Samuel Aidoo as Deputy Managing Directors in-charge of Operations and Support Functions, and Wholesale Banking respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Until their appointments, Edward Opare-Donkor was the bank\u2019s Chief Operating Officer while Samuel Aidoo was the Group Head of Wholesale Banking of Fidelity Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Edward has a strong background and solid professional experience of over 15 years in Banking, Finance and Operations. His career with the bank started from the Fidelity Discount House where he joined as a Finance Officer in 2002 from CDH Insurance. He has since held various roles successfully in the Finance function, which includes the Financial Controller and Director of Finance roles.<\/p>\n<p>Samuel Aidoo, on the other hand, brings to this new role over 15 years\u2019 experience in Treasury &amp; Investment Banking, and a very strong knowledge of sub-Saharan African markets. He joined the bank in 2016 as treasurer, after leading Barclays Africa\u2019s Capital Markets business in Nigeria. He has been instrumental in elevating the bank\u2019s position in the financial and capital market business landscape in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>Julian Opuni, Managing Director of Fidelity Bank said, \u201cIndividually, Edward and Samuel have demonstrated unique professionalism in managing their respective portfolios.
