Reliable information available to adomonline.com<\/strong> indicates that auctioneers \nhave moved in to execute a court order against Allship Logistics Limited \nthrough the auctioning of the company\u2019s properties.<\/p>\n
Our sources within the auctioneers\u2019 outfit have, however, informed us that some officials of the National Investment Bank (NIB) to whom Allship Logistics Ltd owes the debt which is in excess of GH\u00a270 million have, in an interesting twist of events, called the auctioneers to ask that they halt the process.<\/p>\n
An Auctioneer source who spoke to adomonline.com<\/strong> on condition of anonymity said two top management members of the bank have called to ask them to back down on carrying out the court\u2019s order.<\/p>\n
We \nhave received calls from some Management of NIB, asking us to halt the process \nand deal with the issues as a \u2018house matter\u2019<\/em>, our \nsources within the auctioning team has revealed.<\/p>\n
A Commercial court had \nordered that assets of Allships Logistics Ltd, a company owned by New Patriotic \nParty Chairman, Mr Kutin Jnr including six landed properties, one commercial \nproperty in Cape Coast, all movable properties including trucks, motor \nvehicles, machinery and equipment be sold with \u201cPraecipe for Writ of Fifa\u201d.<\/p>\n
The listed \nproperties as ordered by the court were meant to be used to offset part of the \ndebt owed the NIB bank.<\/p>\n
It was in an attempt \nto carry out the order that the said intervention came from some members within \nthe NIB Management for the issue to be dealt with as a \u2018house matter\u2019.<\/p>\n
