Nii Arde Tagoe<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Community Rights for Development (CRD) is
\ncalling on the office of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Greater
\nAccra Regional Commander \u2013 for the arrest of the self-styled overhead of land
\nguard recruitments and empowerments, Daniel Nii Arde Tagoe, in the coastal
\ncommunities, Kokrobite in particular. <\/p>\n

CRD is a pressure group that seeks for the
\nimprovement of livelihood in coastal communities of the Ga-South
\nMunicipality.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n

The Executive Director, CRD, Nii Tetteh Nixon in
\na release said, <\/p>\n

\u201cAs regards the part, that the residents in this
\ncommunity, is to play a supportive role as a collective responsibility to
\nassist the security agencies especially the police to flash out the bandits and
\nunacceptable hostilities of this beautiful, potential and recreational
\ncommunity in the country. <\/p>\n

Indeed, the incident between the armed gang and
\nthe police exchange gun battle few days ago, was allegedly supported by the
\nkingpin called Daniel Nii Arde Tagoe, a self-styled overhead of the Nii Arde Ankpa
\nWe of Jamestown \u2013 Accra.<\/p>\n

As responsible citizens, we do support the new
\nbill passed recently by the law makers \u2013 against land guards commitment and involvement
\nby group or individual citizens within our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

The release added, \u201cWe are ready to support the
\nmedia with any information related to the land guard issues. Certainly, the
\nresidents in Kokrobite desire protection for free movement of business activities
\nas any other community in the Ghana. <\/p>\n

CRD, on behalf of Kokrobite and its environs is
\nappealing to security agencies to come to our rescue, having endured land
\nguards threats for many years. It is really affecting daily businesses and we
\ndon\u2019t feel safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

The CRD Executive chairman stated that activities
\nof land guards in the area has negatively affected the beach town (Kokrobite), noted
\nas one of the highest tourism destinations in time past. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe future of this town needs total support
\nregarding infrastructure from government, international community, individuals
