UNIVERSAL MERCHANT Bank (UMB) has successfully hosted an engaging SME Clinic for some of its SME customers in Accra. <\/p>\n

The seminar, delivered by UMB\u2019s Consulting Director for Credit, Eyram
\nAtsu, was held in the Bank\u2019s head office at Airport City in Accra, on the topic
\n\u201cManaging Cash Cycle of SMEs\u201d. <\/p>\n

In his submission, Mr. Atsu provided relevant
\ninformation on topics such as financing models, succession planning,
\nrecruiting, corporate governance among other significant topics to help the
\nparticipants mitigate cash cycle challenges they face in their daily business
\noperations.<\/p>\n

Acting CEO of UMB, Benjamin Amenumey in his welcome address assured the
\nparticipants of the Bank\u2019s continuous support of their businesses and of the
\nSME sector in general. <\/p>\n

He highlighted some of the notable financial support UMB had extended to
\nsmall and medium scale businesses and further pledged an even greater financial
\nand non-financial support to SME business owners and customers of the Bank at
\nlarge.<\/p>\n

Mr. Amenumey encouraged participants to take advantage of the suite of
\nresources and dedicated staff of the Bank stating that \u201cgiven the enormous
\ncontribution and investments UMB has made in the SME sector especially with the
\nsetting up of the flagship UMB PPP Incubator Centre in Madina and the three
\ndedicated Centres for Businesses located in Ashtown-Kumasi, Madina-Accra and
\nKasoa-Accra, respectively. UMB is positioned to be your unique partner for a
\nsteady yet significant growth in your various businesses and in the growth of
\nour economy.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of the seminar, some participants did not only share useful
\nfeedback that would further enhance the business relationship with the bank,
\nthey also used the opportunity to express their profound gratitude to UMB for
