Adjei\u2019s company to come out with the documents to prove. There is no contract for sale,\u201d he stated in an interview on Adom FM\u2019s morning show, <strong>Dwaso Nsem<\/strong> programme, Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The suspended PPA boss is being<br \/>\ninvestigated following allegations of his involvement in the sale of government<br \/>\ncontracts in the documentary.<\/p>\n<p>The documentary showed how a company \u2013 Talent Discovery Limited \u2013 incorporated in June 2017, was selling out government contracts it had been awarded mostly through restrictive tender.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently being investigated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor and Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice over allegations of conflict of interest.<\/p>\n<p>But, Mr Obuor said his client is now a public enemy due to the journalistic piece of a journalist which lacks evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Citing himself as an example, he said he was furious when he first heard the news but after conversations with Mr Adjei, he has come to conclusion that calls for his client to be arrested are baseless.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Obuor said the interrogation at the Special Prosecutor\u2019s office took just 25 minutes and indicated that the investigative piece was much ado about nothing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the police heard their explanation during their interrogation, they were shocked,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, so far no one has brought incontrovertible evidence to prove that indeed he or she bought a contract from PPA boss\u2019 company, thus proving corruption or conflict of interest charge would be difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Source: Ghana|Adomonline.com|Adwoa Gyasiwaa Agyeman<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adjenim Boateng Adjei, CEO of the Public Procurement Authority Lawyer of embattled Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Adjenin Boateng Adjei says his client will be exonerated from corruption charges leveled against him.
