Sekondi, Aug. 24, GNA – Voting has ended
\nsuccessfully at both the Sekondi and Shama election centres where delegates and
\nparty executives voted to elect candidates for the Parliamentary slot of the
\nNational Democratic Party.<\/span><\/p>\n

At sekondi a total of 624 delegates were
\nexpected to cast their ballots either in favour or against the three
\ncandidates’: Charlotte Odoom, one time Metropolitan Chief Executive, Betty
\nBosomtwe-Sam, a former Deputy Minister and Mr. Hagan popularly called
\n“Panyah” among party faithfuls.<\/span><\/p>\n

Observations during and after the process
\nwas that of a serene atmosphere where delegates voted in a quiet and orderly
\nmanner with maximum security provided by the police.<\/span><\/p>\n

The delegates from 64 branches of the party
\nvoted at Sekondi.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Shama, the process also went on
\nsuccessfully. When GNA visit the centre, party agents representing the four
\ncontestants were observing the process of sorting out of the ballot papers to
\nenable the electoral officers count the votes.<\/span><\/p>\n
