Nkawie (Ash), Aug.
\n23, GNA \u2013 The Nkawie Circuit Court has sentenced two friends to a total of 30
\nmonths imprisonment for conspiring to steal and stealing a motorbike at Agogo,
\nin the Atwima-Kwanwoma District.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alhassan Musah 20,
\nunemployed, received 18 months while Nasil Nicodemus 23, electrician, got 12
\nmonths after pleading guilty to the charges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deputy
\nSuperintendent of Police (DSP) Sylvanus Dalmeida told the Court presided over
\nby Mr Michael Johnson Abbey that, the convicts and the complainants were
\nresidents of Atwima-Agogo.<\/span><\/p>\n

He said on August 17
\nthis year, at dawn, police officers on the Abuakwa-Kumasi road checkpoint,
\nspotted Musah on the motorbike heading towards Kumasi.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Prosecutor said
\nthe police officers became suspicious and arrested him and during
\ninterrogation, he admitted to stealing the motorbike and mentioned Nasil as his
\naccomplice.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was also arrested
\nand they were charged and brought before the court.<\/span><\/p>\n
