{"id":689481,"date":"2019-08-23T09:15:16","date_gmt":"2019-08-23T09:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"<br><div>\n\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"22\">Johannesburg \u2014 BUOYED by a massive increase in revenues globally, French mobile technology firm, Crosscall, has set its sights on the South African market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data"},"modified":"2019-08-23T09:15:16","modified_gmt":"2019-08-23T09:15:16","slug":"africa-upbeat-french-mobile-firm-targets-africa-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/08\/23\/africa-upbeat-french-mobile-firm-targets-africa-expansion\/","title":{"rendered":"Africa: Upbeat French Mobile Firm Targets Africa Expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"22\">Johannesburg \u2014 BUOYED by a massive increase in revenues globally, French mobile technology firm, Crosscall, has set its sights on the South African market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"9\">Crosscall specialises on outdoor, waterproof smartphones and professional phones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"25\">Its earnings have soared from \u20ac51,2 million (R812 million) to \u20ac71,6 million (R1,1 billion), representing a 40 percent rise within the space of a year.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/.outer-ad-container.responsive-aans-view-a-container--><\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"12\">Officials believe this proves Crosscall&#8217;s ability to disrupt the international telecommunications markets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"9\">Julien Fouriot, Sales Director for Africa, mirrored this sentiment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"15\">&#8220;Crosscall has taken steps to ensure its success in each market they enter,&#8221; said Fouriot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"17\">The official said Crosscall focused on the business-business market actively seeking out organisations that needed tougher cellphones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"11\">Some of these industries include farming, security, mining and civil engineering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"21\">Cyril Vidal, Founder and President of Crosscall, said sales performance confirmed the company&#8217;s commitment to offering unique, durable and reliable products.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"32\">&#8220;New continents are growth and profit drivers for Crosscall.
