The Accra Business School has held its 7th congregation ceremony awarding 160 students with degrees and diplomas.<\/p>\n

The graduands consisted of 83 MBAs, 64 Postgraduate Diplomas and 13 bachelors\u2019 degree.<\/p>\n

Additionally 21 outstanding individuals were conferred honorary fellowships consisting of 1 senior fellow, 7 fellows and 13 Associate Fellows. 10 Alumini achievement awards were also presented.<\/p>\n

The Dean of the School, Prof. Elvis Cornerstone who gave the report underscored that celebrating the achievement of graduands in obtaining their awards and degrees is a clear demonstration of the investment in the high standard of quality teaching and learning at the Accra Business School.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe teaching at the Accra Business School is informed by the highest quality of Lecturers and Professors who are well versed in their specialized fields and more importantly in their various fields of research\u201d he said and expressed optimism that such approach provides the students with first-hand access to new and innovative projects which enhances their knowledge.<\/p>\n

Prof. Cornerstone further informed that in a bid to allow students to start thinking about their own research and engage other researchers outside the university, the School is about introducing MSc Degree programs beginning with Accounting and Finance.<\/p>\n

Welcoming guests, President of the Institute, Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei touted the Accra Business School as an Institution poised to change Ghana through leadership and to produce the human capital needs of today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

He observed that quality teaching and learning encompasses Lecturers who bring industry to the classroom by producing individuals who become either entrepreneurs or employees who can make companies grow to employ more people.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is what Accra Business School stands for\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Bishop Titi-Ofei urged the students to go out and become the true leaders of change explaining that one can learn more as leaders by listening rather than talking.<\/p>\n

The 7th Congregation of the Accra Business School was held last week Friday in Accra at the College of Physicians and Surgeons under the theme: Business education economic development and democratic stability.<\/p>\n

Guest Speaker was Prof. Emeritus Stephen Adei, Chairman for the National Development Planning Commission.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the topic: Business education economic development and democratic stability, Prof. Emeritus Stephen Adei said it was important that everyone becomes concerned about the type of governance in the country explaining that everyone is a political being as such should be concerned about whether the governance is good or bad.<\/p>\n

Prof. Adei elaborated about Ghana\u2019s democratic regime and outlined many interventions that make democracy a success which he said includes the introduction of social intervention programs such as free healthcare and education.<\/p>\n

He called on all stakeholders including the media to serve as watchdogs to keep the Government on its toes for a stable democracy.<\/p>\n

The Accra Business School is a prestigious Christian Business School accredited to offer globally recognized postgraduate, undergraduate and professional programmes in a Christ-centered scholarly environment that integrates faith and learning.<\/p>\n

The school is an affiliate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Australian Institute of Business (AIB) Adelaide, Australia and the awards for Training and Higher Education, Norwich, UK.<\/p>\n

The Institute has a mission to develop a new breed of global business leaders educated to global standards who can create jobs, increase incomes and reduce poverty in Africa.<\/p>\n
