I am sorry for the comment on the large number of children in Africa.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"36\">T\u00f6nnies will step down from his position on the board for three months at which point he is expected to return, according to a statement put out by the club on Tuesday evening, Deutshe Welle says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"17\">CNN reports that Germany&#8217;s Justice Minister Christine Lambrecht has led calls for T\u00f6nnies&#8217; comments to be punished.<\/p>\n<p class=\"story-body-text\" data-para-word-count=\"8\">Schalke start their Bundesliga season on August 17.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clemens T\u00f6nnies at a game between Schweinfurt and Schalke in August 2018.
