We have had to take some difficult decisions to correct the wrongs of the past government. The President promised to protect the public purse and that is exactly what we are doing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALSO: Possible Communications Service Tax increase; Minister reacts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Finance Minister further said the government had put in place measures to undertake some priority projects to improve the standards of Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have successfully completed and exited the International Monetary Fund programme.
