{"id":655218,"date":"2019-07-12T12:48:19","date_gmt":"2019-07-12T12:48:19","guid":{"rendered":" <br><div>\n<p>Viewers of Citi TV, will from tomorrow (July 13, 2019) enjoy the live performances of the music talent discovery show, Voice Factory.<\/p>\n<p>The programme which airs at 7 pm will feature 10 talented singers who made it through the fiercely c"},"modified":"2019-07-12T12:48:19","modified_gmt":"2019-07-12T12:48:19","slug":"meet-araba-contestant-of-citi-tvs-2019-voice-factory","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/07\/12\/meet-araba-contestant-of-citi-tvs-2019-voice-factory\/","title":{"rendered":"Meet Araba, contestant of Citi TV\u2019s 2019 Voice Factory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Viewers of Citi TV, will from tomorrow (July 13, 2019) enjoy the live performances of the music talent discovery show, Voice Factory.<\/p>\n<p>The programme which airs at 7 pm will feature 10 talented singers who made it through the fiercely contested auditions.<\/p>\n<p>Genevieve Antwi-Nuamah, also known as Araba, is one of the contestants preparing for tomorrow\u2019s show.<\/p>\n<p>Araba is an intern at the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens at the University of Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>She believes all the contestants are good for the competition but she stands tall among them and will beat them to the ultimate prize of GHc 10,000.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-531902\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/07\/Araba.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1080\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Also competing for the coveted prize are Cleck Boyson, Sandra Ntiful Idara, Samuel Adjasoo and Kenny Kings.<\/p>\n<p>The rest are Franklina Konadu, Ababio Joana, Stephen Baiden-Worgloh, Deborah Aflapkui and Charisma Logo.<\/p>\n<p>The 10 selected singers will battle it out for the top spot, in live performance shows in a period of 13 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The judges for the competition, music producer, Kaywa, rapper EL and gospel musician, Edinam Bright-Davies are also ready to assess the performances of the contestants and ultimately decide who wins.<\/p>\n<p>The contestants will be taken through voice training and other grooming tasks that will harness their musicianship.<\/p>\n<p>The 4th edition of the competition which was previously aired on Citi 97.3 FM is meant to unearth music talents and put them in the limelight.<\/p>\n<p>The programme which started in 2009 has had artists like Fritz Hehetror, Melody Wilson, Natasha Odoi emerging as winners.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Voice Factory\u2019 will be aired on Citi TV on Saturdays at 7 pm with daily updates at 12 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The show will be compered by Osei Kwame, co-host of Citi FM\u2019s late afternoon drive, Traffic Avenue and AJ Sarpong, host of Brunch in the Citi on Citi FM and Hall of Fame on Citi TV.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Viewers of Citi TV, will from tomorrow (July 13, 2019) enjoy the live performances of the music talent discovery show, Voice Factory.
