Embattled businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome has sent a strong notice that he will compel the Ghanaian government to comply with the yet to be delivered judgement by the African Court on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights in Arusha, Tanzania, should the tussle between him and the State go in his favour.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am a good citizen and law abiding. I will make sure that whatever the African Court will say, the government will comply and work with it\u201d, Mr. Woyome revealed ahead of the ruling today June 28, 2019.<\/p>\n

Mr Woyome applied to the Continental court arguing that his human rights were being trampled upon by Ghana in relation to the case in which he sued Ghana for abrogating a financial engineering services contract and was paid GH\u00a251.2million.<\/p>\n

Justice Alfred Benin of Ghana\u2019s Supreme Court on Friday, June 27, 2019, ordered for the sale of properties of the embattled businessman, to defray part of the judgement debt he fraudulently received from the state less than 24hours for the African Court on Human and Peoples\u2019 Rights to also deliver its judgement.<\/p>\n

In an interview MyNewsGh.com monitored, Mr. Woyome vehemently rejected the Ghana\u2019s Supreme Court ruling serving notice of an appeal the judgment by a sole Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Alfred Benin ordering that several properties identified as belonging to him must be sold to offset part of GH\u00a251.2 Million judgment debt paid illegally to him by the State.<\/p>\n
