Date: Jun 26, 2019 3:25pm<\/time><\/p>\n<\/div> \n<\/header><\/p>\n\n\n\nDate: Jun 26, 2019 3:25pm<\/time><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n\n\nGeorge Okley, Managing Director of BOST [Left] with Senyo Hosi, CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Bulk Oil Distributors <\/span>\n<\/figure>\nThe Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation companies (BOST) is set to launch a new system to help end challenges\u00a0Bulk Oil Distributing Companies (BDCs) face trying to access fuel from their depots.<\/p>\nBDC\u2019s currently struggle to access fuel from different depots other than where they lodged their products.<\/p>\nThe situation considerably impacts the operations of BDCs thus increasing the cost of operations with regards to the transportation of fuel products.<\/p>\nBut BOST is hopeful that its new system will help mitigate such challenges.<\/p>\nSpeaking to Citi Business News<\/strong>, after meeting with BDCs on Wednesday, George Okley, the Managing Director of BOST said their new system will improve distributors access and reduce the cost of transporting products over long distances.<\/p>\n\u201cIf somebody brings a product to APD, the product would have to be transferred to Kumasi before you could get access to it. The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation companies (BOST) is set to launch a new system to help end challenges\u00a0Bulk Oil Distributing Companies (BDCs) face trying to access fuel from their depots.<\/p>\n
BDC\u2019s currently struggle to access fuel from different depots other than where they lodged their products.<\/p>\n
The situation considerably impacts the operations of BDCs thus increasing the cost of operations with regards to the transportation of fuel products.<\/p>\n
But BOST is hopeful that its new system will help mitigate such challenges.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Citi Business News<\/strong>, after meeting with BDCs on Wednesday, George Okley, the Managing Director of BOST said their new system will improve distributors access and reduce the cost of transporting products over long distances.<\/p>\n\u201cIf somebody brings a product to APD, the product would have to be transferred to Kumasi before you could get access to it. \u201cIf somebody brings a product to APD, the product would have to be transferred to Kumasi before you could get access to it.
