Miracle Ikechukwu, the winner of the 2018 Big Brother Naija \u2018Double Wahala\u2019 show, has obtained his certification as an \u201cInstrument Rated\u201d pilot.<\/p>\n

He took to his Instagram page @miracleikechukwu to share the news, as he posts a picture of his duty post.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cA lot of turbulence while en-route but finally landed. \u201cInstrument Rated!\u201d. It\u2019s only Your Grace Lord. Thank You.. and to everyone who has supported meh thus far, I Appreciate\u2026 GOD Bless..\u201d<\/p>\n

Miracle was in aviation school prior to the BBNaija show and however returned to complete his training immediately after clinching the grand prize.<\/p>\n

His total winning prize included N25 million cash, a Sub-Urban Vehicle (SUV) worth N12 million and a trip for two valued N4.7 million, Television and other electronic items worth N3.3 million.<\/p>\n

The ambitious young man expressed his resolve during the eviction nights where he wore his piloting uniform each time he was up for possible eviction.<\/p>\n

He had earlier in 2018 announced acquisition of both Private Pilot License and Flight Dispatcher License.<\/p>\n

Newsmen report that an Instrument Rating, in Aviation Parlance, is a qualification that pilot must have in addition to a Private Pilot or Commercial Pilot License to fly under Instrument Flight Rules.<\/p>\n

It requires additional training and instruction beyond what is required for a private pilot certificate or commercial pilot certificate.<\/p>\n

The check ride is divided into an oral component to ascertain that applicants understand the theory of instrument flying and an actual flight to ensure the pilot possesses the practical skills required for safe IFR flight.<\/p>\n
