Rapper Nicki Minaj has confirmed she is set to marry Kenneth Petty after revealing they have obtained a marriage license.<\/p>\n

The rapper and Kenneth have been dating for over seven months when they went official with their relationship on Instagram.<\/p>\n

She has since spoken about the decision to get the license with her \u2018husband\u2019, (which she called him) while talking about their evening routine on her Queen Radio show on Apple Music\u2019s Beats 1 radio.<\/p>\n

\u2018We did get our marriage license. I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness.<\/p>\n

\u2018It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I\u2019m there, I don\u2019t want to compromise that for anyone or anything,\u2019 she said, according to Metro.<\/p>\n

Nicki referred to her other half as \u2018husband\u2019 when she said Kenneth gives her a loving foot rub every evening after her shower but admitted that they were not yet legally married.<\/p>\n

\u2018Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought, and he massages my feet and rubs them, and he rubs each toe individually, and the heel, and the ball of my foot, and he does it all.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s just so sexy,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n

The Chun Li rapper recently praised Kenneth for making her feel \u2019empowered\u2019, and said she is in the \u2018best place\u2019 she\u2019s been in a long time \u2018spiritually\u2019.<\/p>\n

She said: \u2018If I\u2019m being honest, spiritually, I\u2019m at the best place I\u2019ve been in a long time.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think who you have in your life determines how you feel spiritually. I\u2019m happy now with or without a man, but it just so happens the man in my life, he\u2019s known me since I was 14,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n

\u2018He knows the real me, I don\u2019t have to pretend. We can be around each other all day and not get bored.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s a different level of friendship and passion I\u2019ve never had before. So nurturing and knows just what to say to make me feel empowered.<\/p>\n

The Trinidadian born rapper is the most awarded female rapper with lots of accolades to her credit.<\/p>\n

In 2015 she won the award for Best Hip-Hop Video for \u201cAnaconda\u201d.<\/p>\n

She won the BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist in 2010 and 2016.<\/p>\n

Throughout 2011 to 2016, Minaj was nominated for a total of 10 Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n
