Sports presenter, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n A renowned sports presenter, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah has disclosed that he will endorse former President John Dramani Mahama anytime any day if given the opportunity due to his personal relationship with him and not because he allegedly received $1m from the former president.<\/p>\n
The ace sports presenter said to hear that he had at a point received about a million dollars from the former president, was so shocking, he could hardly believe it.<\/p>\n
He revealed that he currently drives a Totoya vehicle, therefore it is never true that he received a house, a car and the alleged $1m cash from Mr Mahama.<\/p>\n
Mr Ankrah said people like him cannot be bought with gifts, and lamented that it hurts a lot when a substantial percentage of people in society believe such a lie.<\/p>\n
The Sports presenter stressed that he never received any money from the former president to campaign for him.<\/p>\n
He said he knew the former president when he was a Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi and his relationship with him was very strong.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was very affable and easygoing. He is very pleasant and for me that nature of him got me to endorse him,\u201d the football administrator said.<\/p>\n
When asked if he will still support the former president in the 2020 election, he said \u201cas for John Mahama, Yes! As a person that I know all this while, I have no problem with him. If I have the chance again, I will endorse him. The John Mahama that I know, I think I can guarantee for him.\u201d<\/p>\n
He made these statements when speaking with Afia Pokua (Vim Lady) on Vim Talk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
