height:90px;\">\n<div class=\"mom-ads-inner\">\n<div class=\"mom-ad\" data-id=\"1236\" style=\"width:728px; height:90px; \">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"appear\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/Say-yes-to-ads-Banner-728-X-90.jpg\" alt=\"Right Below Featured Image\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\"\/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Ghana Chamber of Commerce has commended steel and iron manufacturing giant, B5 Plus for the immense socio-economic contributions it has made to Ghana over the years.<\/p>\n<p>President of the Chamber, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso, was speaking when he toured B5 Plus factory at Kpone.<\/p>\n<p>The visit was to help the Chamber familiarize itself with the operations of B5 Plus, Ghana\u2019s leading steel company.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cwe are here to say a big thank you for his support to the Chamber and private sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He praised the company also for the security measures it has put in place and its rapid adoption of technology, adding that \u201cso we commend B5 Plus for such innovation and initiatives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-509363\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/Three.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"851\" height=\"445\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>B5 Plus is a member of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce, and according to Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso, has been supporting the growth of the Chamber.<\/p>\n<p>The President also praised the company for paying its taxes to government and for paying social security contributions.<\/p>\n<p>He described the Chairman of B5 Plus, Mukesh Thakwani, as so down to earth and selfless.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-509362\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/One.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"783\" height=\"528\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>He was also amazed about B5 Plus\u2019s subsidiary, the Delhi Public School International, which he believes is giving quality education.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Thakwani seized the opportunity to appeal to the Chamber and Government of Ghana on some challenges facing players within the steel industry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-509361\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/Four.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"864\" height=\"480\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>About B5 Plus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>B5 Plus Ghana Limited was established about 20 years ago with its corporate headquarters at Kpone near Tema, and was initially importing steel and iron from Cote d\u2019 Ivoire and South Africa, but has grown to the stage where it now exports to other countries.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2018, the company supported the Ghanaian government\u2019s One District One Factory initiative with the establishment of an $80 million steel factory at Ningo-Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.<\/p>\n<p>B5 Plus Limited operates in all the 15 Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) nations.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s principal product is steel products which come in seven major categories such as mild steel, high tensile &amp;
