News reaching MyNewsGh.com indicate that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Women Organiser for UK-Ireland Louisa Nelson is dead.<\/p>\n

Details about the cause of death remain sketchy but according to family sources, she died on the morning of Sunday April 28, 2019 after a short ailment.<\/p>\n

Tributes have since been pouring in for the late NDC executive who played a key role in the re-election of former President John Dramani Mahama as flagbearer of the party ahead of the 2020 polls.<\/p>\n

Mayah Brogya: Rest in peace Louisa Nelson\u2026.may our Good Lord be pleased with her soul.<\/p>\n

Abraham Ferguson: May the Almighty keep your lovely soul till we meet again. Louisa Nelson<\/p>\n

Yayra Koku: I sent her a message that I\u2019m in town so when is she preparing banku and okro for me to come and eat. She asked me to come home. I couldn\u2019t go.<\/p>\n

She called me three days later and was not happy with me cos I couldn\u2019t visit her. I promised to go and see her just last week but still couldn\u2019t make it. Just yesterday evening I was thinking about how to call her and explain myself. Only for me to hear the bad news that Louisa Nelson is no more.<\/p>\n

I still can\u2019t believe Louisa is no more. Such a loving and hardworking woman. UK\/Ireland branch of the NDC has lost a great person. May your gentle soul rest in peace, my senior sister.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
