{"id":610499,"date":"2019-04-26T14:13:53","date_gmt":"2019-04-26T14:13:53","guid":{"rendered":"<br><div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">General News of Friday, 26 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>citinewsroom.com<\/p>\n2019-04-26\n\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghana-mma.com\/2019\/04\/361094"},"modified":"2019-04-26T14:13:53","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T14:13:53","slug":"ndc-office-shooting-man-stabbed-multiple-times-in-suspected-reprisal-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/26\/ndc-office-shooting-man-stabbed-multiple-times-in-suspected-reprisal-attack\/","title":{"rendered":"NDC office shooting: Man stabbed multiple times in suspected reprisal attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">General News of Friday, 26 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>citinewsroom.com<\/p>\n<p>2019-04-26<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/36109408.295.jpg\" alt=\"Stabbing Victim.png\" title=\"Stabbing Victim.png\" width=\"295\" height=\"212\" \/><span class=\"play-icon\">play video<\/span><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>The victim [C] was stabbed him multiple times with knives<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\">Some men believed to be relatives and friends of the man who was killed at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party\u2019s office in Kumasi during a shooting in February have attacked a man in a suspected reprisal attack.<\/p>\n<p>The victim is currently at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds.<\/p>\n<p>Suleman Hussein, also known as Akon, was declared wanted by police for his involvement in the shooting incident which claimed the life of 34-year old Abdul Wasiu Iddris.<\/p>\n<p>The angry youth on Thursday Afternoon besieged the residence of victim at Kenyasi-Abirem to demand his whereabouts from his family.<\/p>\n<p>According to suspect\u2019s sister, the youth numbering about 20 broke into his brother\u2019s room and stabbed him multiple times with knives.<\/p>\n<p>The family reported the incident to the police who later came to his rescue and succeeded in dispersing the youth.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect\u2019s sister, Samira Hussein told Citi News the men surrounded her home and searched her\u2019s and her mother\u2019s rooms.<\/p>\n<p>She said she didn\u2019t know her brother was also around and was surprised when her brother was actually found in her room.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey took a brick and they broke the door and they entered, and my brother was sitting his sofa. One of the guys just stabbed him on his thigh with the knife. He stabbed him too deeply.
