{"id":610068,"date":"2019-04-25T11:20:17","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T11:20:17","guid":{"rendered":"<br><div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">Sports News of Thursday, 25 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>Graphic.com.gh <\/p>\n2019-04-25\n\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghana-mma.com\/2019\/03\/825993"},"modified":"2019-04-25T11:20:17","modified_gmt":"2019-04-25T11:20:17","slug":"yacouba-demands-better-accommodation-from-kotoko","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/25\/yacouba-demands-better-accommodation-from-kotoko\/","title":{"rendered":"Yacouba demands better accommodation from Kotoko"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">Sports News of Thursday, 25 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>Graphic.com.gh <\/p>\n<p>2019-04-25<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/03\/82599356.295.jpg\" alt=\"Sogne Yacouba New\" title=\"Sogne Yacouba New\" width=\"295\" height=\"181\" \/><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>Yacouba expressed his grievances to the management of Kotoko in a meeting<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\">Kumasi Asante Kotoko\u2019s poster boy, Songne Yacouba, has registered his protest against his hotel accommodation in Kumasi, urging the management of the club to provide him a befitting apartment.<\/p>\n<p>According to Yacouba\u2019s Manager, Jesse Jantuah, the Burkinabe import had been staying in Sports Hotel in Kumasi (a facility which belongs to the Executive Chairman of the club, Dr Kwame Kyei) ever since he joined the Porcupine Warriors, and that did not make it conducive for the player\u2019s family, especially his wife and parents, who wanted to visit him.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Jantuah told Kumasi-based radio station, Oyerepa FM, that the player had expressed his grievances to the management of Kotoko in a meeting and hoped that a solution would be reached soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSogne Yacouba has notified Kotoko management that he is unhappy and has explained to them why he doesn&#8217;t want to continue living in Sports Hotel but rather prefers a permanent home in the city.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His wife and parents wanted to visit him but they couldn&#8217;t come down to Kumasi and with his religion, his living at the facility has been uncomfortable,&#8221; Jantuah noted.<\/p>\n<p>However, Yacouba\u2019s manager noted that the player still loved the club and that he was not forcing his way out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not true that Sogne Yacouba has decided to terminate his contract.
