{"id":608589,"date":"2019-04-18T14:24:50","date_gmt":"2019-04-18T14:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"<br><div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">General News of Thursday, 18 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>peacefmonline.com<\/p>\n2019-04-18\n\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghana-mma.com\/2019\/04\/368"},"modified":"2019-04-18T14:24:50","modified_gmt":"2019-04-18T14:24:50","slug":"ofosu-ampofos-trial-keep-quiet-and-go-to-court-pius-hadzide-to-ndc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/18\/ofosu-ampofos-trial-keep-quiet-and-go-to-court-pius-hadzide-to-ndc\/","title":{"rendered":"Ofosu-Ampofo&#8217;s trial: Keep quiet and go to court &#8211; Pius Hadzide to NDC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">General News of Thursday, 18 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>peacefmonline.com<\/p>\n<p>2019-04-18<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/36864020.295.jpg\" alt=\"Pius Hadzide  Sports Check\" title=\"Pius Hadzide  Sports Check\" width=\"295\" height=\"156\" \/><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam-Hadzide<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\"> Deputy Information Minister, Pius Enam-Hadzide has offered advice to the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to \u2018keep quiet in the media and go to court with their facts\u2019 if they have any proof to show that Chairman Ofosu-Ampofo is innocent in the charges proffered against him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they have something to say, I will advise them to keep quiet in the media and go to court and present their facts . . . but to create the impression that in Ghana there should be no equality before the law, then the citizens will not understand you,\u201d he advised.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Okay FM\u2019s &#8216;Ade Akye Abia&#8217; Morning Show, Pius Enam-Hadzide insisted the NDC should not panic if they have eveidence that their National Chairman&#8217;s leaked taped was doctored.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy have they resorted to letter writing and radio interviews to address the issue which is already in court?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He therefore described as disappointing the comment made by the NDC Chief Scribe, Johnson Asiedu Nketia that the government should have prosecuted those involved in the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence and ignore the secret tape of their National Chairman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am surprise that a leader like Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the biggest opposition party in Ghana is capable of saying that others in the past should be prosecuted first and not Ofosu-Ampofo.
