The Member of Parliament of Bolgatanga Central, Mr Isaac Adongo has tagged Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia\u2019s celebration at Wednesday’s town hall meeting as a hat-trick of embarrassment.<\/p>\n

According to Adongo, Ghana\u2019s economy had been rated the 4th worst economy in the world and therefore there was nothing relevant to celebrate about, as the Vice President and \u2018his people\u2019 did on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Mr Adongo was speaking at a lecture by the minority to expose to Ghanaians the true state of Ghana\u2019s economy, after the town hall meeting by the NPP.<\/p>\n

Adongo explained that while the NPP\u2019s were celebrating the stability of the cedi, which he believed was stable for a very short while, the cedi was also depreciating at the same time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are the second in the whole of Africa when it comes to debt and so why do we celebrate these goals? Ghana\u2019s economy was rated the 4th worst in the whole worldby the UN and we are celebrating this embarrassment with kenkey and fish,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
