{"id":605059,"date":"2019-04-04T17:47:08","date_gmt":"2019-04-04T17:47:08","guid":{"rendered":"<br><div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">Politics of Thursday,  4 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>awakenewsonline.com<\/p>\n2019-04-04\n\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghana-mma.com\/2019\/04\/64758"},"modified":"2019-04-04T17:47:08","modified_gmt":"2019-04-04T17:47:08","slug":"npp-inaugurates-communications-directorate-in-dome-kwabenya-constituency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/04\/npp-inaugurates-communications-directorate-in-dome-kwabenya-constituency\/","title":{"rendered":"NPP inaugurates Communications Directorate in Dome Kwabenya Constituency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">Politics of Thursday,  4 April 2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>awakenewsonline.com<\/p>\n<p>2019-04-04<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanamma.com\/2019\/04\/64758506.295.jpg\" alt=\"Kwabenya Npp2\" title=\"Kwabenya Npp2\" width=\"295\" height=\"211\" \/><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>Members of the new Communications Directorate of the New Patriotic Party<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\">The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency has inaugurated its first-ever Communications Directorate.<\/p>\n<p>The 50 member team is made up of 36 zonal communication chairpersons and 24 free agents communicators.<\/p>\n<p>Members from all the 18 zones of Dome-Kwabenya  constituency which includes: Taifa north (A&amp;B), Taifa south (A&amp;B), Dome East (A&amp;B), Dome West (A&amp;B), Kwabenyazone (A&amp;B), Agbogba, Ashongman\/Ablade, Oko\/Pillar two zone, Haatso(A&amp;B), Atomic Zone, Abokobi zone and Ashongman estates.<\/p>\n<p>The communication team was set up to inform and educate the people in the constituency about the NPP government\u2019s ongoing projects, earmarked projects, and achievements. This is the first NPP communication directorate to be set up and inaugurated at the constituency level. The members undertake house to house visits, radio and TV discussions, zonal tour and public awareness on government achievements, and organize seminars and presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The team has a year-long program for the Constituency which includes general clean-up exercise, constituency tree planting exercise, town hall meetings, press conferences, party achievements and awareness float.<\/p>\n<p>In his speech, Ato Welbeck, the Communications Officer for the directorate charged the team to offer their all to realise the aim of the communication directorate.<\/p>\n<p>He also acknowledged the speaker of Parliament Rt. Mike Oquaye, Lawyer AdwoaSafo, Chairman Solomon Assante and the constituency executives Committee which is chaired by Robert Osei-Bonsu for their immense support.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy Greater Accra Communications Director, Hon. William Frimpong-Bonsu who supervised the inauguration of the communication team pledged his support, on behalf of the Regional Directorate, led by Hon. Nana Francis Ebo Mensah, for the group.<\/p>\n<p>He praised the dome Kwabenya NPP communication directorate for being the first to be set up and inaugurated in the party at the constituency level.<\/p>\n<p>He promised to replicate it at all the constituencies across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The event was graced by national, regional, constituency representatives and party members.
