He said NAM1 was naturally born to be a \u201cbad boy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is smart, he is criminal, he is evil, he is a natural born bad boy because he selects very beautiful girls to lure people, but I\u2019m not greedy so I didn\u2019t fall for it\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Badwam on Adom TV Wednesday, Mr. Agyapong said; \u201cI was in Parliament one day when three beautiful young girls came to me. They tried talking to me about Menzgold which I never gave them ears. Last time they came, I felt they were really pestering my life so I turned and looked at them and said, I\u2019m wise, go and tell your boss am wise than him, Are you the one to teach me how to invest in crypto currency?\u201d, Hon Agyapong revealed.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday January 15 2019, The Ghana Guardian gathered that; the bank accounts of the embattled businessman has been frozen.<\/p>\n<p>A source at the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) said they were in court to secure an order to freeze his other assets, pending investigations.<\/p>\n<p>NAM 1 has been arrested in Dubai over a botched gold transaction far different from any Menzgold related issue.<\/p>\n<p>But he has been charged with defrauding by false pretences after the gold-trading entity failed to pay its clients\u2019 dividends or principal investments since August 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Sensing danger, the Securities and Exchange Commission shut it down over regulatory infractions. <\/p>\n<p>From that period, affected customers of Menzgold have held several demonstrations to demand their investments whiles pleading with the government to intervene and retrieve their monies for them.<\/p>\n<p>The government has repeatedly said taxpayers\u2019 money will not be used to rescue the affected customers but has assured of his arrest to refund the money.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently in custody in Dubai and government is taking steps to bring him back to Ghana to face the laws of the land.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a style=\"display:none\" rel=\"follow\" href=\"http:\/\/megatheme.ir\/\" title=\"\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633\">\u0642\u0627\u0644\u0628 \u0648\u0631\u062f\u067e\u0631\u0633<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General News of Thursday, 17 January 2019 Source: ghanaguardian.com 2019-01-17 Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold It has emerged that; troubled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, lured &#8216;big men&#8217; to his gold dealership firm, Menzgold, through beautiful girls.
