Dr Lawrence Tetteh, an International Evangelist, has called on the youth to inculcate and adopt discipline in their daily endeavours to attain greatness.

He said without discipline it would be very difficult for the youth to sharpen the talents God has endowed them.

Dr Tetteh made the call in Accra at a youth conference christened ” Power to the Youth” organised by the Faith Impact Centre and the Lawrence Tetteh Ministries.

He urged the youth to lead responsible lifestyles that would enable them to contribute their quota to move the nation forward.

Dr Tetteh also admonished them to hold on to Christ to be great and successful in their endeavours.

He urged them to attend to their academic expectations and eschew acts of ungodly vices that would ruin their future prospects.

“To be empowered, you need to have integrity and display acceptable lifestyles to encourage your peers to refrain from acts of indiscipline”, he said.

Dr Tetteh, who is also an Economist trained in Hungary, urged the youth to take advantage of educational opportunities to better their future.

“Be determined to make the best out of every educational opportunity to be successful in life”, he said.

He called on the youth to take advantage of the Hungary scholarship scheme to broadened their scope of knowledge.

Hungary has pledged to increase the number of scholarships for Ghanaian students from 50 to 100, beginning September 2020.

The initiative is to provide educational opportunities to Ghanaian students to acquire skills and knowledge and contribute meaningfully to the country’s socio-economic growth.

Dr Tristan Azbej, the Secretary of State in charge of Hungary Humanitarian Aid Programme, urged the youth to be united and stay committed to the dictates of their faith.

He urged them to be persistent in prayer to stand the test of any temptation on their way.
