Management of Radio Gold are struggling to hold on to their top stars following the ban imposed on the station by the National Communications Authority.

Less than a week after Morning Show host and host of weekend political talk show, ‘Alhaji and Alhaji, Samuel Eshun left, another big name has quit the station.

Renowned sports journalist and head of sports Kweku Owusu Aduomi popularly known as Wano Wano is the latest person to board the exit train.

Information reaching Ghanaweb.com indicates that the controversial sports presenter tendered in his resignation letter on Tuesday morning.

He then went ahead to thank some members of management and staff before taking his leave.

An excerpt of his resignation cited by this site reads “I have had a wonderful experience working with Network Broadcasting Company (Radio Gold) these past seventeen years.

“As a result, it is a bittersweet occasion that I write to you this morning, announcing my resignation from the company and my position as the Head of Sports effective January 2020.

I leave in order to pursue further challenges in my career as a broadcaster. I appreciate and value the lessons I learned under your tutelage as the general manager”.

Wano Wano spent over 17 years with Radio Gold where he gained recognition for his honest, forthrightness and pulling no punches approach on sporting issues.
