Former President Mahama should be focusing on preparing his retirement note since his comeback would be met with resistance and a defeat, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has said.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako in an interview with Peacefmonline.com stated that “John Mahama can decide to eat one sack of gari and add salt to it, he would be beaten for the second time by Nana Akufo-Addo in 2020”.
The NPP Chairman known as Chairman Wontumi explained that on every sector of the economy, the Akufo-Addo led government has performed better than the erstwhile government of John Mahama.
Chairman Wontumi recounted that when it comes Agricultural growth, the NPP has shown it is better than the NDC.
Interest rates and inflation according to the NPP Chairman is also better than the legacy John Mahama left behind.
He continued that when it comes to “creation of jobs, paying of Teacher Trainees and Nursing Trainees Allowances, the NPP has shown that it cares for the ordinary Ghanaian”.
