Ghana Premier League side Karela United are contemplating to adopt Essipong stadium as their home venue for the upcoming league season.
The Ayinase based club will not be able to use their favourite Crosby Awuah Memorial Park due to a renovation work set to hit the park.
Footballmadeinghana.com understands the management of the Club are contemplating to adopt the Essipong stadium for the first round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
It will be a big blow for Karela United, who have turned the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park to a fortress. They have gone 95 matches unbeaten at the ground.
Meanwhile the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season has been slated to commence on December 28, 2019 with eighteen teams to partake.
