Minister for Special Development Initiative has directed a strong warning at the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC] to desist from any discourse relating to the distribution of some ambulances purchased as part of government’s ‘One Constituency One Ambulance’ campaign promise.
Mavis Hawa Koomson was emphatic on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Friday, November 15, 2019, that the largest opposition party has no right whatsoever to demand an immediate allotment of the health vans.
“They have no moral right to ask about the ambulances. What moral right do they have?” she questioned in an interview with Mac Jerry Osei Agyeman.
Her warning comes after the minority, at a press briefing Thursday, November 15, 2019, asked for the immediate distribution of some 48 ambulances parked at the forecourt of Parliament for several reasons including an allegation that people are dying as a result of lack of emergency health care delivery systems.
