Lapaz Toyota hitmaker, Guru has disclosed that he doesn’t smoke. According to Guru, many Ghanaians have the perception that all musicians smoke but that’s not the case with him.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana on the Atuu Show, when asked whether he smokes, he said,
“I don’t smoke; i’ve never smoked in my life. Many people think every musician smoke, but it’s never true”
Guru also bemoaned the erroneous perception people have about young men and women who live affluently, thinking they made it through rituals.
“Here in Ghana, everyone feels that any young man living a financially stable life is involved in fraud, but that isn’t always the case. The economy we live in makes it difficult for a young person to even buy a bicycle; so when you are driving a car, then you have a problem“
