For what many may consider being stress-free, Gospel musician DSP Kofi Sarpong says it has not been easy combining two careers – being a policeman and musician.
According to him, though he has always appeared to be in control, he pays attention to serving his country more than his music career.
Speaking on Adom FM’s mid-morning show, Work and Happiness, monitored by , Mr Sarpong said, “sometimes it amazes me how I am able to combine the two even with family.”

“I go to the studio at night to record and head to my office in the morning. On weekends, when I am less busy, I try to visit the studio again to finish up on my works,” he told show host, Black I.
The gospel musician said he responds to duty calls even when he has an event which requires his performance.
“If you invite me for a show and I have an IGP request, I will pay attention to that first. I might even perform in my uniform if I have to after that,” he added.
DSP Kofi Sarpong is currently promoting his new song, “Messiah”.
