Vaxjo DFF have confirmed that Nigerian defender, Ohale Osinachi is leaving the club for Real Madrid’s women team, CD Tacon.
The Swedish Damallsvenskan outfit made this known in a statement on their official website on Wednesday night.
The statement read: “Tonight it became clear that Nigerian national team player Osinachi Ohale is leaving Växjö DFF for Spanish CD Tacon.
“Ossy has been an important part of our backline and has contributed with her strength and speed since she joined us in the summer of 2018. Thanks for everything Ossy and good luck!”
Osinachi, who joined Växjö DFF in 2018, began her career at Nigerian club, Rivers Angels before joining Delta Queens.
The 27-year-old has won four Africa Women Cup of Nations titles with the Super Falcons.
She was part of the Nigeria squads to 2011, 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cups.
Osinachi also played for Houston Dash in 2014, before returning to Nigeria in 2015 for a second spell at Rivers Angels.
