Annually, monthly, daily, every micro-second, someone is thinking, brooding, planning to take their lives, some over mental conditions, some over depressive tendencies.
According to a new United Nations agency report, one person dies by suicide every 40 seconds.
Suicide is a disturbing phenomena in societies all over the world and aside efforts by the World Health Organisation, health institutions and experts to help deal with the situation in various regards, the 10th of September, every year is set apart globally, to mark the World Suicide Prevention Day.
The day is earmarked to promote suicide prevention and create awareness about suicide prevention activities.

Last Septmber I thought the world would be better without me.
I’m extremely thankful I was proven wrong and will work like hell to help others get the help to feel the same. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay

I struggled with suicidal thoughts for months after heart surgery.
It was the scariest thing I’ve ever been through.
I felt alone and completely disconnected from the world.
Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, as a survivor I wanted to share the one quote that’s always helped me.
“You don’t want to die, you just want to kill how you’re feeling right now.”
You are valid, you are loved and help is out there. Be stubborn. Stick around.— TechnicallyRon (@TechnicallyRon) September 10, 2019
Be Brave and talk if you can ???????
Most of my childhood I was physically, sexually and mentally abused. This controlled my mental state for many years including self harm and attempted suicide.

It’s #WorldSuicidePreventionDay
In March I was in a psychiatric unit, having tried to end my life. Today I’m riding my bike along the beautiful Spanish coast.
If you’re struggling, keep going. Life can be brutal, but it’s also beautiful- & worth fighting for.
You’ve got this????

I have seen first hand the terrible pain my patients go through when a loved one feels they have no choice but to take their own life

If like me you once nearly died by suicide, and are happy you didn’t, it would be great to send a pic or message here to give others hope. Will retweet as many as possible.

I did, around 5 times I’ve been close, and I’m lucky to be alive. Everything always gets better afterwards. Just keep mastering your emotions until suicide isn’t the only option and think of what a tiny difference you make each day to people’s lives. #WorldSuicidePreventionDay
