A lady who seems to be going through serious problems with her husband has confided in relationship counsellor Barbie Nubi on the basis of anonymity about the ‘bad’ character of her husband.
Narrating what she is going through, she indicated that her husband took several loans and now that she wants to do a project with her money, he’s asking her to rather pay his loans than use the money for her project.
So she wrote to Barbie Nubi asking for advice on how to go about things.

Greetings Dearest Barbie, Thank You For creating these extraordinary platforms. You are truly helping a lot of people. There are days I just log on and laugh till I have tears in my eyes.
Today I present my personal case file. But please keep my identity concealed. I married a slightly older man thinking the older you married the more wiser the person. But I was wrong. My husband is probably the most irresponsible person on earth. He comes from a wealthy home and things money falls from trees. His dad gives him money every month and so I managed to convince him to bring that money to invest in a property at cantonment and East Legon. Our plan was to build our dream home at cantonment and build commercial buildings at East Legon. On several occasions I tried convincing him to let us start the commercial one at least to earn something but he kept saying he didn’t have money. Meanwhile this guy flew first class with his friends around the world. My family and I own a cold store we are okay so I managed to save a little.
I decided to take on the project myself so I called an architect, told my husband about it and arranged a meeting to go to site. My husband kept avoiding the site meeting saa, the architect travelled came back and still he wasn’t ready to meet on site. So I decided to go ahead with architect, upon getting there we found out my husband have use land to secure a loan without telling me about it, and the land was seized by Microfinance.
When I confronted him , he was being defensive and we found out the other land was also seized. The sad part is this man went to lands to report documents lost because I refused to give him documents and use new documents to secure loan.
I was hurt and disappointed, but I knew I needed a plan B. My parents gave my siblings and I land at Airport some years ago. So I decided to develop it. I informed my husband that I was starting building project because I was tired of renting and instability so he should support, he refused. So little by little I started my project . Gotten to an advance phase now and this man keeps telling people I am selfish and that instead of me to give money to him to pay of loans I ‘m there claiming I’m building.
Dear house . Do you think I should stop Project and give money to my husband to pay off loan. There is this hatred in his eyes when he looks at me just because of this project, but to be honest I just want a stable home for our kids. What are your opinions. Please advise Tellitmoms and Tellitall.”
