Chelsea stars, N’Golo Kante and Cesar Azpilicueta have reacted to the Blues’ Premier League 1-1 draw against Leicester City on Sunday.
Goals from Mason Mount and Wilfred Ndidi ensured both teams got a point at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s true we used a lot of energy this week,” Kante told Chelsea’s official website on Monday.
“We had the match against Man U and then travelled to Turkey for the match against Liverpool when we played very well. We were a bit tired against a good Leicester team. We had a good first 20 minutes. After Leicester were very good in the match and in the end a draw is not a bad result.”
Azpilicueta added: “When you have better spells than the opponent you have to kill the game.
“In the first 20, 25 minutes we were a lot better than them, we were controlling the game and having a lot of chances. We needed to score a second goal.
“The Premier League is very tough, and Leicester are a good team with good players and good quality. We knew they could create us problems and when you are 1-0 up you are at risk.
”We are Chelsea and we don’t accept not winning. It’s up to us to raise the levels and get a win next Saturday.”
Chelsea will face Norwich City in their next Premier League fixture this weekend.
