Miwirenfiriwuo (B/R), July 19, GNA – The
Ministry of Health (MoH) has been commended for the speedy execution of a
Health Centre project under construction at Miwirenfiriwuo, a farming community
in the Dormaa East District of Bono Region.

The five-bed capacity health facility is
being funded by the MoH and when completed it would also contain separate
apartments for three members of staff, a consulting room, an injection room,
record keeping office, a dispensary, a bathroom, a toilet and urinal facilities
and a resting place for caretakers of patients.

Mr Emmanuel Kofi Agyemang, the District
Chief Executive (DCE), gave the commendation when he visited the site on
Thursday as part of a two-day inspection tour of projects under implementation
in the District.

He said the Centre would create easy access
and affordable health care delivery services for residents in the area because
the distance between the place and the nearest health facility was miles away
but transportation services too was not reliable on the route.

Mr Solomon Okley, the site foreman, said the
project which was 60 per cent completed might be handed over by October this
year.

The project was started in January this
year.
