Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has refused to rule out a move for Dani Ceballos who he described as a “very good player”.
Emery has only brought in 18-year-old forward, Gabriel Martinelli, so far this summer but is determined to bolster his squad before the transfer window closes.
It is believed that Real Madrid’s Ceballos will be the next through the doors at the Emirates, with the Gunners close to completing a loan deal for the midfielder.
Asked about the rumours surrounding Ceballos on Arsenal’s pre-season tour, Emery replied: “I don’t want to speak about the names but Ceballos is a very good player.”
The 22-year-old is understood to have spoken with Emery and will now snub advances from their North London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
