It’s always big news when Ed Sheeran drops as simple as a single, not to mention when it is an entire album.
With the release of No. 6 Collaborations Project last night, it’s no wonder why it’s a huge talking point.
Sheeran trended on Twitter through the early hours of Friday morning after his all-star LP hit digital music services.
The new set has a diverse cast of artists. There’s literally someone for everyone, from Skrillex to Eminem, Cardi B, Bruno Mars and many more.
Ed’s most recent album Divide made him the best-selling artist in the world. Based on social media traffic, his latest is an early hit.
Some of his collaborators got into the spirit and shared their own messages of thanks and support, including Camila Cabello who sings on “South of the Border” and described the release as “such a special moment for me.”
