Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello, has spoken about the need for personal space in her relationship.
The Jenifa’s diary actress said her best friends have to respect her relationship with her husband and are not expected to have any sort of interaction with him.
The 41-year-old mother of twins mentioned that the only time her friends are allowed to call her husband is on his birthday.
Funke Akindele-Bello made these comments in an interview on TVC’s “Your View” while speaking about friends and respecting personal spaces in marriages and relationships.
She said:
“For me, personal space is personal space. Your best friend has to stay in her lane.
“Your friend can come to your house, your husband can know your best friend, he can say hello but why would she be calling my husband on the phone? Except its his birthday.”
Funke Akindele-Bello is married to rapper and movie producer Abdul Rasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz.
