Kofi Kinaata Talks About His Album, His Strength And His Relationship In New Interview

Fante rapper, Kofi Kinaata was the guest of Andy Dosty in the studios of Hitz FM earlier today where he had an exclusive interview and talked about a wide range of issues, including the abysmal performance of the Black Stars at the 2019 AFCON, his music style and his relationship.

Talking about his style of music, the Takoradi native rapper, whose real name is Martin King Arthur, said people often find it hard to understand his rap concept that’s why specializes in more singing than rap lately.

People were not getting my concept, they were finding it difficult to decode what I’m saying,” he said. Kinaata noted that he has rap songs are very deep to understand but that’s why he does not get that much attention in that aspect.

“I believe my strength is my lyrics, I mean what I say, so what do I gain if I do a song and people don’t even get the concept?”

“Even though I do the rap I make sure it is very soft for everyone to understand – easy consumption,” he added.

The ‘Confession’ hit man also revealed Manchester United is his favourite team and lamented about the poor performance of the Black Stars at the 2019 AFCON which saw the team bundled out of the round of 16.
