Madagascar are yet to taste a defeat in the AFCON

Madagascar versus Tunisia is the last quarterfinal match of the 2019 AFCON and we will bring you live text commentary of all the actions at the Al Salam Stadium.

Madagascar are on a fairytale run in the tournament that has seen them beat Nigeria and DR Congo and will hope to continue their dream debut at the tournament.

They are the first team since Cape Verde in 2013 to reach the quarterfinals and have done so without losing any of the matches in the run up to this stage.

But today they come up against a Tunisian side which specialty is their ability to suffocate opponents and grind out results.

They are yet to win a game in regulation time in the tournament but have a lethal forward in Khazri who can hurt opponents at any time.

Lalaina Nomenjanahary has contributed significantly to Madagascar’s incredible run in the competition.

He has had a hand in four of Madagascar’s seven goals in the tournament and tonight is one of those nights where his services will be of huge essence to them.

Wahbi Khazri’s introduction made the difference for the Carthage Eagles in their round of 16 game against Ghana and with 2 goals in four games he will be their livewire tonight.

Tunisia is playing their 10th AFCON quarter-final. They have failed to advance in their past five appearances at this stage.

For Madagascar, this will be their first experience at this stage of the tournament.
