In every award ceremony, there are winners and losers, and as usual the Rigworld Training Center Western Music Awards 2019 (RTCWMA 2019) was no exception.
Some received nominees and never won, some didn’t even receive nominations whilst others also got nominated and won their respective categories.
We look at the top 10 nominees at this years event that won an award in their respective categories.

10. Nemesis Loso
The young rapper was adjudged the best new artiste of the year. He really produced various hits which includes ‘Yewo Town’, ‘Yay3 Wild’ and ‘Problem Dey’. Nemisis Loso seems to be everyone’s fav so it wasn’t too surprising to see him win the that category ahead of the other competitors. Loso is set to release another EP, Silent Killer. He really had a very good performance that night.
9. The Township
The Township who recently released an album, Dragon Tooth and Drowning Men won the prestigious Hip Hop Song of the Year with his ‘The Mad Titan’ track. He was also one of the fav performers on the night.
