Video: DKB to demonstrate against NPP gov’t over ‘Dumsor’

Ghanaian comedian DKB has taken to his Instagram page to pour his frustrations about the power outage situation in some parts of Ghana.

Speaking in a video, DKB said if the government doesn’t fix the situation in one week, he will organise a mammoth demonstration.

The Electricity Company of Ghana handed over operations of the company to Power Distribution Services (PDS) in February this year.

But for almost a week now, there has been recurrent blackouts in some parts of the country including Lapaz, Abeka, Sowutuom, Kasoa, Tema, Kwashieman, Odorkor, Awoshie and parts of Northern Ghana.

PDS has attributed the situation to a “system failure” and has assured customers of fixing the situation in no time.

But DKB who believes otherwise has urged the government to fix the situation or he organises a demonstration similar to that of actress Yvonne Nelson against the previous NDC government.
