Elections in Jomoro constituency currently underway
NDC’s presidential primaries is currently underway, as delegates from Jomoro constituency have begun casting their vote at various polling centers.
The party has opted for a decentralized polling station approach for the polls to save time and ensure proficiency in all 275 constituencies.
So far, all indications are that party members are complying with the normal voting procedure as a result of heavy police presence, both in uniformed and plain clothed, in some areas.
All seven aspirants including Goosie Tanoh, Former President Mahama, Professor Joshua Alabi, Mr Alban Sumanu Bagbin, Mr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Mr Sylvester Mensah and Alhaji Nurudeen Iddrisu are very confident of leading the party into the 2020 elections to wrestle power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
