Gospel Songstress, Patience Nyarko says she will rather be single than get married and regret the move for the rest of her life, MyNewsGh.com reports
She made this known
to showbiz in an interview.
Patience indicated
that she has come under immense pressure to get married. The pressure according
to her, is from family, friends and her church but she will not succumb to
their pressure to get herself into something that will deny her her happiness.
She said “Members
from my church have also added their voice to it and it sometimes becomes
unbearable, I have so many of my friends who have regretted getting married and
I don’t want to end up like them”.
Patience mentioned that marriage should never be a yardstick
to measure success with women adding that ““In our part of the world, a woman
in her 30s is seen in a certain manner if she is not married which to me is
very wrong”.
With her career in music, the Obi Nyanime hitmaker mentioned that she will release a bigger one this year to the Glory of God.
