A member of the GFA Normalisation Committee Lawyer Duah Adonteng has disclosed his outfit is on course to execute its mandate before the end of its tenure which elapses on March 31, 2019.

The Normalisation Committee was appointed by the world governing body (FIFA) to run the day to day administration of the FA, including reforming the statutes and organising elections for the Association within a six-month period.

Mr Adonteng says the Committee remains on course to reform Ghana football following the airing the investigative documentary by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on corruption in Ghana football.

“We are on course and with the deadline, we are very much aware of the task. It is a gradual process. In the course of duty, we encounter lots of challenges on the way, but we are never disturbed. We are on course to reach our target,” he said.

On his part, the ad-hoc committee inaugurated to assist the Normalisation to attain its mandate were members with rich experience and competence, who would bring their expertise to bear to help reform Ghana football.

He stated that, though the job given them comes with a lot of pressure, the team was prepared for the challenges, it comes with.

“Members of the ad-hoc committee comprises experienced members and I believe they would assist us to achieve our mandate. The pressure this job comes with we can’t finish it alone that was why we have asked them to assist us.

“With their diverse experience and competence that they will bring on board, I believe we will reach there,” he added.

“This job comes with pressure given the crises in football. To me, I always say this is like a war to us and we must prepare ourselves to be under pressure to win.”
