Former Division One League Board chairman, Kwame Ntow Fianko has rejected an appointment to serve on an adhoc committee of the Ghana Football Association’s Normalisation Committee (NC, revealing he was ‘not consulted’.

The astute lawyer was named as a member of the Domestic League competition by the Normalisation Committee (NC) but has questioned the competence of the NC implying the way he was appointed was not professional.

Aghast over the modus operandi, the experienced legal practitioner and former campaign manager of former FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi, has flatly rejected the appointment.

He says he was not consulted before and would have rejected if he was even approached.

“Nobody consulted me before adding to the ad hoc committee. Even if the Normalisation Committee approached me earlier, I would have told them I won’t be available,” he told Atink FM

The Normalisation Committee of the Ghana Football Association inaugurated six ad hoc committees to aid the Normalization Committee execute its mandate on Tuesday in Accra.

They are keen on using such appointments to get the game underway after previously being accused of operating a close-door system.
