Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah with others at residence of the Chief Imam in Accra
The founder of Glorious Word and Power Ministry International church, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah has apologised to Chief Imam Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu for prophesying on New Year’s Eve that the spiritual leader of the Muslim community in Ghana will die this year.
Rev Owusu Bempah visited the residence of the Chief Imam in Accra on Thursday, 10 January 2019 in the company of a delegation and presented the Muslim cleric with a fat cow as a placatory token.
He rattled the Muslim community in Ghana when with the doomsday prophecy, which resulted in angry machete-wielding youth numbering about 15 vandalizing the Odorkor branch of his church.
Amidst the tension, the Chief Imam pleaded with the youth to forgive the reverend minister since death was an inevitability.
