Managing Director of Kinapharma Ghana Limited, Kofi Nsiah-Poku and President of Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso have made huge donations to Countryside Children’s Welfare Home.
Items donated include food stuff, pharmaceuticals, drinks, water, toiletries and money.
The gesture, according to the two philanthropists was to support the less privileged in society and make them feel equally important.
Managing Director of Kinapharma Ghana Limited, Kofi Nsiah-Poku also presented GHC5,000 to the Headmaster of Countryside Children’s Welfare Home to enrol the children onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
Mr Nsiah-Poku further promised to provide first aid and free medical screening to the children in the orphanage in the first quarter of every year.
“On behalf of Kinapharma and Healthy Life, we present these drinks and amount of 5,000 cedis to do the registration for everybody on this compound for the National Health Insurance. Every first quarter, I’ll come and give them first aid. All the minor ailments they would have, they will use the products that I brought before they go the hospital,” he stated.
He urged all to visit orphanage homes in the country and contribute to the welfare and development of the children who may become great national assets.
